Born on March 2, 1956, to Trinidad “Trino” Ortega and Dolores “Lola” Ortega, Michael’s presence will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Michael is survived by his daughters, Charmaine Morales (Armando) and Helani Ortega Godinez (Danny), and his son, Michael Ortega. He leaves behind an extensive family, including 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. His grandchildren—Valerie (Jason), Veronica (Michael), Victoria (Vance), AJ, Leah, Dominique, Natalie (Milton), Maili, Solomon (Latavia), Melanie (Christopher), Mikey Jr., Lauren, Noah, DJ, and Leinani—were a source of immense pride for him.
In addition to his immediate family, Michael is also remembered by his siblings, Diane (David), Andie (Jesse), Tricia (Donna), Gabe, and Chris, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Kathy.
