Road Closures in Dallas County This Sunday for Helicopter Lifts

URGENT UPDATE: Significant road closures are set to disrupt traffic in Dallas County this Sunday, as authorities prepare for a large-scale operation involving the transportation of air conditioning units via helicopter. The closures will take place around Ventana by Buckner, a senior living community located at the southwest corner of U.S. Highway 75 and Northwest Highway.

According to a statement from Buckner International, the closures will begin at 8 a.m. and last until 1 p.m., affecting a portion of the Highway 75 frontage road, one exit ramp, and one on-ramp. This operation is coordinated with the Texas Department of Transportation to ensure the safety of all drivers in the area.

Both southbound and northbound lanes at the exits closest to Ventana by Buckner will be temporarily closed, creating potential delays for commuters. Traffic alerts have already been issued to inform drivers of the impending disruptions, urging them to seek alternative routes.

This operation is crucial for the timely installation of essential services at the senior community, highlighting the ongoing commitment to enhancing living conditions for residents. As this situation develops, drivers are advised to remain vigilant and stay tuned for updates.

For those in the area, planning ahead is key. Monitor local traffic reports and adjust travel times accordingly to avoid the closures. The community’s safety remains a top priority, and officials are working diligently to minimize the impact on daily commutes.

Stay alert for further updates on this developing story, and share this information with others who may be affected.
