Jamie Stoudt Launches New Novel at North Dakota Festival

Jamie Stoudt is set to unveil his fifth novel, “I Took the Money,” during the inaugural North Dakota Book and Arts Festival on September 20, 2023. The event will take place at the Reiland Fine Arts Center on the campus of the University of Jamestown. This festival will feature numerous local authors and artists, celebrating the vibrant cultural scene in North Dakota.

Stoudt’s latest work is described as an action-adventure novel spanning 328 pages. It will be available in both hardcover and e-book formats. The book’s synopsis paints a vivid picture:

“I Took the Money” is a funny, charming, exciting, scary, and often mind-numbing description of Leo Scanlan’s heroic efforts to stay alive, in the grips of self-created adversity. Pigs and bullets fly, things blow up, and the sharks are well fed. But hey, fish gotta eat, too.

This year marks the first iteration of the North Dakota Book and Arts Festival, which aims to showcase the talents of local creators. Stoudt, an established author in the region, invites attendees to connect with him during the festival. He can be reached at [email protected] or via his official website.

All of Stoudt’s novels, including his latest release, are available for purchase on his website, through Amazon, and at The Melted Crayon Gift Shop in Jamestown. As the festival approaches, anticipation builds for Stoudt’s new tale that promises to keep readers on the edge of their seats.

With its emphasis on local talent, the North Dakota Book and Arts Festival seeks to enrich the community’s cultural landscape and provide a platform for creative expression.
