East Sacramento’s Fab 40s Neighborhood Draws Throngs of Trick-or-Treaters

UPDATE: The East Sacramento neighborhood is buzzing with excitement as families flock to the famous Fab 40s area for Halloween 2023. This year, residents are gearing up for an exhilarating night filled with spooky decorations and, of course, an abundance of candy.

Every year, the Fab 40s, located between 40th and 49th Streets along J Street and Folsom Boulevard, transforms into a Halloween wonderland, enticing eager trick-or-treaters with its festive atmosphere. KCRA 3’s Lee Anne Denyer reported live from the scene, highlighting the neighborhood’s unique charm. One house even surprised visitors with a creative twist—offering monster teeth, a playful name for the beloved candy corn.

As children parade through the streets in exciting costumes, this year’s trending favorites include characters from the popular movie “KPop Demon Hunters.” The energy is palpable, and families are making lasting memories in this vibrant community.
