A series of arrests and incidents occurred in Willmar, Minnesota, on October 24, 2025, according to local law enforcement records. The events include multiple traffic-related arrests and reports of drug activity, alongside a fire incident and a theft case.
Arrests and Traffic Incidents
At approximately 10:34 a.m. on Thursday, officers arrested a 24-year-old suspect under a warrant from Kandiyohi County. As of 11:30 a.m., the suspect was not listed as in custody at the Kandiyohi County Jail.
In another incident, a 39-year-old driver was stopped for driving without a license at 12:05 a.m. Thursday near the intersection of Lakeland Drive and 14th Avenue Northeast. After the arrest, the individual was released.
Additionally, at 11:32 p.m. on Thursday, a 40-year-old driver was apprehended for operating a vehicle on a suspended license near the intersection of Fifth Street and Kandiyohi Avenue Southwest. The driver received citations and was subsequently released from police custody.
Drug Activity and Other Reports
On Wednesday at 12:56 p.m., law enforcement executed a search warrant at a residence located in the 1800 block of Becker Avenue Southeast. This action followed reports from property management regarding the discovery of drug paraphernalia at the site.
A report of a vehicle fire was made at 6:22 p.m. Wednesday, just north of the intersection of Kandiyohi County Road 5 and 120th Avenue Southwest. The Raymond Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire before law enforcement arrived at the scene.
Furthermore, a fraud report was filed at 8:32 a.m. Thursday, concerning a credit card that had been added to a caller’s account approximately 11 months ago in the 300 block of Valley View Drive Southeast.
In a separate incident, at 8:43 p.m. Wednesday, a business in the 100 block of Lake Avenue South reported that a customer left without paying for an order of french fries. The staff opted not to pursue charges but requested that the individual be served with a trespass notice.
