Rancho La Gloria has announced a contribution of $20,000 to the Hispanic Heritage Foundation’s (HHF) Leaders on Fast Track (LOFT) program. This donation, revealed during National Hispanic Heritage Month, represents the beginning of a partnership aimed at empowering Latino leaders across various sectors.
The HHF, a national nonprofit established in 1988, has been recognized by the White House, the U.S. Congress, Fortune 500 companies, and the government of Mexico for its contributions to education, workforce development, and cultural advancement. Joey Perris, Chief Marketing Officer of Rancho La Gloria, emphasized the importance of this collaboration. “We are proud to partner with the Hispanic Heritage Foundation, an organization that is making a real impact,” he stated.
The LOFT program connects over 300,000 students and young professionals across ten tracks, including business, education, sustainability, technology, and public service. Participants benefit from mentorship, resources, workshops, and internships designed to enhance their leadership skills.
“Our goal is to shine a light on the community’s history and support its future by providing Latino professionals and students with crucial resources,” Perris explained. He highlighted that the HHF’s LOFT initiative is essential for empowering Latino leaders through comprehensive leadership development and community-building programs.
Commitment to Community Impact
Rancho La Gloria, known for creating the original Margarita and pioneering agave wine-based ready-to-drink cocktails, aims to strengthen its community ties through this partnership. Perris described the donation as a reflection of the company’s commitment to community impact, which he believes is central to the identity of Patco Brands. “At Patco Brands, we are a family business with an entrepreneurial spirit, and giving back is part of our mission and DNA as a company,” he said.
The company’s headquarters in Sausalito is designed to foster creativity and collaboration. “It’s not a place full of egos, cubicles, and a stuffy corporate feeling — but more a creative area for everyone to work and collaborate openly,” Perris noted. This environment plays a crucial role in driving innovation and community initiatives within the brand.
Perris expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “When we met HHF and learned about their vast variety of programs supporting the Hispanic community, especially towards developing entrepreneurs and future leaders, we knew it was a fit for our company and a mission we believed in.”
By investing in the LOFT program, Rancho La Gloria aims to champion Hispanic heritage while supporting the growth of future leaders who will shape the community’s trajectory. This initiative aligns with the company’s broader commitment to investing in the future of the community that has significantly influenced its identity.
