Lauryn Renae Hale, a beloved member of the Jamestown community in North Dakota, passed away on October 5, 2025, at the age of 33. Born in Bismarck, North Dakota, she was a dedicated mother and cherished friend whose warmth and spirit touched the lives of many.

Raised in Jamestown, Lauryn was an active member of her community and attended Jamestown Public Schools. At the age of 20, she welcomed her first son, Jaymeson, followed by her second son, Hendrix, when she was 28. This achievement was a source of pride for her, and she expressed deep gratitude for the support she received throughout her recovery journey. Her infectious laugh and ability to uplift others made her a beacon of positivity.

Celebrating a Life Full of Joy and Resilience

Lauryn had a vibrant personality, often described as having a special spark that could brighten any room. She enjoyed various activities, including coloring, listening to music, dancing, and spending quality time with her loved ones. Known for her enthusiasm, she embraced her role as a “football mom,” celebrating every milestone and accomplishment with her sons.

She is survived by her husband, Maverick Carswell, her sons Jaymeson and Hendrix, her parents, Anthony and Julie Hale, and her siblings, Caitlin (Jeffrey) Wilen, Allison Michel, Landen Wood, and Logan Joy. Lauryn also leaves behind her mother-in-law, Jen (Nick) Quam, sisters-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews, and countless aunts and uncles, all of whom supported her in her journey to sobriety.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Shirley Benson. Lauryn’s resilience, love, and warmth will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.

A visitation will be held on Monday, October 13, 2025, from 12:00 to 13:00 at the First Church of the Nazarene, located at 1307 6th Ave. SE in Jamestown. A memorial service will follow at 13:00. Arrangements are being handled by Haut Funeral Home in Jamestown.
