Stateside Brands Renames Xfinity Live! to Stateside Live! in Major Deal

A significant change is set to reshape the entertainment landscape in South Philadelphia. Stateside Brands has secured the naming rights for Xfinity Live!, a prominent entertainment hub located in the Philadelphia Sports Complex. The venue will be renamed Stateside Live!, with the official transition expected to occur in the fall of 2025. This new partnership, negotiated by Goldwater Enterprises, highlights a growing connection between the venue and one of Pennsylvania’s rapidly expanding spirits brands.

Situated between Lincoln Financial Field, Citizens Bank Park, and the newly renamed Xfinity Mobile Arena, Stateside Live! is managed by The Cordish Companies’ Live! Hospitality & Entertainment division. This change marks a notable investment in Philadelphia’s vibrant entertainment scene, showcasing Stateside Brands’ commitment to the region.

Stateside’s Rapid Growth

Founded in 2015 by brothers Matt and Bryan Quigley, along with Clement and Zach Pappas, Stateside Vodka has evolved from a local craft distillery to one of Pennsylvania’s leading spirits brands. Its flagship vodka recently earned a Double Gold Medal at the 2024 San Francisco World Spirits Competition and is now available in 32 states. Additionally, the brand has gained recognition for its Surfside Iced Teas and Lemonades, which IMPACT Databank identified as the fastest-growing spirits brand worldwide.

“Our roots are in Philadelphia, and especially in Philly sports,” stated Matt Quigley, president and co-founder of Stateside Brands. “This naming rights partnership is a full-circle moment for us after years of building our following one tailgate and one game at a time.”

Expansion Plans and Future Vision

The renaming coincides with Live!’s plans for a substantial $20 million expansion aimed at transforming the venue into a premier entertainment destination. The enhancements will include a two-story VIP building featuring an upscale rooftop oasis, a central stage for concerts and events, an upgraded turf area for activities and community events, and public art installations throughout the plaza.

Tony Monaco, vice president of operations for Live! Hospitality & Entertainment, emphasized the significance of this partnership. “Stateside is a quality brand with a deep connection to Philadelphia,” Monaco remarked. “Together, we’ll continue delivering a world-class hospitality and entertainment experience for our millions of annual guests.”

The facility will remain open during the construction phase, which is anticipated to be completed by 2026. This timeline aligns with a momentous year for Philadelphia, as the city prepares to host celebrations for America’s 250th birthday, the FIFA World Cup, and the Major League Baseball All-Star Game. The upgraded Stateside Live! is expected to serve as a central hub for these significant events.

Through this partnership, Stateside Brands not only solidifies its status as a local success story but also enhances Philadelphia’s reputation as a leading destination for entertainment, sports, and nightlife.
