Signs of HOPE Strengthens Board with Tara Campbell and Christina Lovato

Signs of HOPE, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting survivors of sexual violence and exploitation, has announced the appointment of two new members to its board of directors. Tara Campbell, executive vice president and chief operating officer at GBank, and Christina Lovato, territory manager at Abbott, will join the organization in their efforts to provide vital resources and support to affected individuals.

Based in Las Vegas, Signs of HOPE focuses on offering hope, help, and healing to those impacted by sexual violence. The addition of Campbell and Lovato is seen as a significant enhancement to the board’s capabilities.

Campbell brings more than 25 years of experience in banking and financial services, emphasizing the integration of diverse talent within organizations. Her long-standing commitment to community development and support for survivors aligns with the organization’s mission. Lovato, a native of Las Vegas, has dedicated herself to enhancing community welfare through compassionate leadership. With nearly two decades of experience coaching local youth soccer and a passion for the outdoors, she adds a unique perspective to the board.

“We are excited to welcome Tara Campbell and Christina Lovato, two accomplished, compassionate Las Vegas leaders, to our board,” said Kim Small, CEO of Signs of HOPE. “Their expertise and commitment to improving this community enhance our ability to fulfill our mission of offering help, hope, and healing to survivors of sexual assault and exploitation.”

About Signs of HOPE

Founded in 1974 as the Community Action Against Rape (CAAR), Signs of HOPE has evolved significantly over the decades. The organization, which operated as The Rape Crisis Center from 2004 until 2021, now provides a range of services, including two 24/7 crisis hotlines and hospital response for sexual assault victims.

In addition to immediate crisis assistance, Signs of HOPE offers counseling, advocacy, and long-term support to help victims navigate their healing journeys. Their Resources and Integration for Survivor Empowerment (RISE) program specifically addresses the needs of individuals affected by all forms of human trafficking.

Through ongoing prevention efforts, educational programs, and community outreach, particularly aimed at youth, Signs of HOPE is committed to raising awareness about sexual assault and exploitation. The organization encourages those in need to reach out via its 24/7 hotline at 702-366-1640, or the RISE human trafficking hotline at 702-936-4004. The integration of Tara Campbell and Christina Lovato into the board underscores Signs of HOPE’s commitment to strengthening its mission and expanding its impact within the Las Vegas community and beyond.
