The Philadelphia Police Department’s Northwest Detective Division is actively investigating two armed robbery incidents that occurred early on July 5, 2025, in the 3200 block of Allegheny Avenue. Authorities are urging the public to assist in identifying the suspects involved.
According to police reports, the first robbery took place at approximately 5:30 a.m.. A woman reported that as she was attempting to enter her vehicle, two unidentified males approached her and allegedly robbed her at gunpoint. Following this incident, the suspects fled eastbound on Allegheny Avenue.
Details of the Second Encounter
Shortly after the initial robbery, the same suspects were seen pulling into an alley south of Allegheny Avenue. At this location, they encountered the complainant along with other victims still present at the scene. Police stated that the men attempted to steal additional belongings before escaping in a white Mercedes sedan, which was last spotted heading east through an alley toward 31st Street.
Authorities have provided descriptions of the suspects to assist in the investigation. The first suspect is described as a Black male with a slim build, wearing a black mask and a brown sweatshirt with “1977” printed on the front. The second suspect is also a Black male, of medium build, wearing a black shirt and pants, with braided hair.
The vehicle involved in the robbery is identified as a white Mercedes sedan. The Philadelphia Police Department advises anyone who may have seen these individuals not to approach them. Instead, they should contact authorities immediately by calling 911.
