New Hope, Pennsylvania, is set to host a vibrant celebration in honor of the Philadelphia Eagles on Friday, September 5, 2025. This event marks the finale of the town’s Summer Series and will feature a variety of festivities, live entertainment, and a spectacular synchronized fireworks and drone show over the Delaware River.
Organized by Visit New Hope and the Greater New Hope Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with Union Chill and New Hope Celebrates, the celebration coincides with the Eagles’ home opener weekend. Fans are encouraged to don their Eagles gear to enhance the festive atmosphere.
Starting at 17:00 and running until 21:00, Stockton Avenue will be transformed into a lively block party. Attendees can explore nearly two dozen local vendors, restaurants, and pop-up shops, offering a wide array of Philly sports-inspired food and drink specials. The event will also feature live music, a DJ, and family-friendly activities, including face painting and giveaways.
The highlight of the night is set to take place around 21:10, when a dazzling drone show synchronized with fireworks will illuminate the sky in the Eagles’ signature green. The display will include themed designs and symbols that fans will surely enjoy. The first 500 attendees at both the block party and the visitor center pop-up will receive complimentary glowing green items to wave during the show.
“This is going to be the biggest and best pep rally for our Eagles on First Friday in September,” said Michael Sklar, president of Visit New Hope and the New Hope Chamber of Commerce. “We broke records with more than 10,000 people at our last show, and we’re thrilled to combine our fireworks and drone display with Philly sports fan spirit.”
Visitors are encouraged to enhance their experience by bringing Bluetooth speakers and using the Pyrocast app (code: F683) to synchronize with the official soundtrack. Parking will be accessible at New Hope-Solebury High School and Union Square, with some locations charging nominal fees.
Union Chill, the event’s presenting sponsor, promises additional surprises throughout the evening. This family-friendly celebration is open to everyone, with food, drinks, and shopping available on a pay-as-you-go basis.
