The Global Gaming Expo (G2E) celebrated its 25th anniversary in Las Vegas, attracting approximately 25,000 industry leaders and professionals from around the world. This milestone event, organized by RX and presented by the American Gaming Association (AGA), reaffirmed G2E’s role as the premier global platform for innovation, collaboration, and growth within the gaming sector.
The week began with a heartfelt tribute to Ernest L. “Ernie” Stevens Jr., the long-serving Chairman of the Indian Gaming Association. This tribute highlighted his significant contributions to both tribal and international gaming. The keynote address on Tuesday featured Bill Miller, President and CEO of the AGA, who set the tone for a series of insightful discussions. The sessions included one-on-one interviews moderated by Hope King, founder of Macro Talk and Axios moderator, with prominent figures such as Bill Hornbuckle, President and CEO of MGM Resorts International, Peter Jackson, CEO of Flutter Entertainment, and Jason Robins, CEO of DraftKings.
On Wednesday, the focus shifted to mental health, with advocate Kendall Toole leading a discussion alongside Meghan Speranzo, Chair of Global Gaming Women’s Sip & Social. Their conversation addressed the importance of mental well-being, boundary preservation, and strategies for prioritizing mental health both at work and in personal life.
G2E 2025 also featured a rich educational program that explored critical topics such as the future of gaming, innovations in technology, prediction markets, and the integration of artificial intelligence. The event provided a comprehensive look at the evolving regulatory landscape affecting both land-based and online gaming. According to Miller, “G2E has firmly established itself as the central meeting point for the global gaming industry, bringing together operators, suppliers, regulators, and the broader industry in the heart of the gaming capital.”
The expo welcomed participants from over 120 countries, showcasing nearly 400 exhibitors and offering more than 100 educational sessions. The reimagined iGaming Hub within the iGaming Zone also drew significant interest. A notable highlight this year was the U.S. debut of the G2E Dealer Championship, where 34 dealers competed for the title of “Best Dealer in America.” Elleonor Hoffman from Graton Resort emerged as the champion, receiving a cash prize and a complimentary two-night stay at The Palms Casino Resort, courtesy of the Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation.
Korbi Carrison, Event Vice President at RX, expressed enthusiasm for the new competition, stating, “The inaugural G2E Dealer Championship brought an exciting new layer to this year’s event. The competition celebrated the incredible skill, precision, and showmanship of casino dealers while highlighting the vital role they play in the gaming experience.”
Looking ahead, G2E has announced future dates for its upcoming events, set to once again convene the global gaming community at The Venetian Expo. The scheduled dates are as follows:
– G2E 2026: September 29 to October 1, 2026 (with education starting on September 28)
– G2E 2027: September 28 to September 30 (with education beginning on September 27)
