The FilmLight Colour Awards revealed their 2025 winners during a ceremony at the EnergaCamerimage festival in Poland. The event, which celebrated exceptional achievements in colour grading, was opened by jury president Bradford Young. Notably, guest of honor Park Chan-wook delivered remarks via video.
The top theatrical prize was awarded to Máté Ternyik for his exceptional work on The Brutalist. Ternyik’s achievement stood out among a competitive field that featured notable colourists such as Damien Vandercruyssen, who worked on Mickey 17, and Adam Glasman, who contributed to Nosferatu.
In the episodic category, Peter Doyle won for his colour grading on Disclaimer, a thrilling series directed by acclaimed filmmaker Alfonso Cuaron for AppleTV. Other contenders in this section included Jean-Clement Soret for Andor and Tom Poole for Severance.

The awards also recognized excellence in various other categories. Dante Pasquinelli took home the music video prize for Bad Bunny‘s hit “NUEVAYoL,” surpassing works by Valerio Liberatore and Jake White.
In the commercial category, Franziska Heinemann was awarded for her work on the project titled Bluff Bounce, while Connor Bailey won in the Spotlight category for his project Good Shot. Additionally, Marina Starke was recognized as the winner in the Emerging Talent section for her work on Converse x Daily Paper‘s “Homecoming.”
