BASE Sports Group has entered a strategic partnership with AIM Sports Group, a leading youth sports organization renowned for its innovative management of leagues and events. This collaboration aims to strengthen the connection between brands and youth sports communities, leveraging AIM’s extensive portfolio.
AIM Sports Group operates a significant 130,000-square-foot sports complex in Orange County, California. The organization oversees a major boys volleyball league in Southern California that actively involves over 5,000 players. Additionally, AIM hosts three prominent annual national events under the SoCal Cup brand, which collectively attract more than 220,000 spectators each year. These three-day tournaments feature over 600 boys club volleyball teams from across the United States and internationally, taking place in large venues such as the Los Angeles Convention Center and Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. This level of organization is setting new standards for youth sports competitions.
As part of its expansion, AIM is also enhancing its digital presence with the upcoming launch of AIM+, a tech and media platform that will provide statistics, box scores, highlights, and rankings. Scheduled to debut in fall 2023, AIM+ aims to offer young athletes and their families access to professional-level profiles and video content, raising engagement and visibility in youth sports to new heights.
Through this partnership, BASE Sports Group will spearhead the development of brand sponsorships and create integrated marketing opportunities across AIM’s events, technology platform, and facilities. “AIM’s portfolio is built to elevate the sports experience,” said John Gallegos, Founder of AIM Sports Group. He emphasized the value of aligning with a partner that possesses a strong understanding of collaborative branding and sponsor-driven relationships.
Mark Dvoroznak, Co-Founder of BASE Sports Group, expressed similar enthusiasm: “From the scale of its national events to the sophistication of its programming, AIM is a standout in youth sports.” Dvoroznak noted that AIM’s innovative approach, rooted in a deep understanding of the dynamics of Gen A athletics, enhances the overall experience for young athletes.
This partnership not only aims to improve the experience for young athletes but also seeks to connect brands with one of the most engaged audiences in youth sports. The collaboration is expected to fuel growth and further elevate the youth sports landscape while maintaining the integrity and excitement at the core of young athletes’ experiences.
As both organizations move forward, they are committed to transforming youth sports by creating valuable opportunities for brands and enriching the experiences of young athletes. This partnership highlights the potential for growth and innovation within the youth sports sector, paving the way for future developments.
