Westminster College is partnering with Pennsylvania CareerLink to host its third annual workshop titled “Beyond Graduation: Exploring Your Path Forward.” This interactive event is designed specifically for high school juniors and seniors, providing them with valuable insights and resources as they consider their post-graduation options. Scheduled for March 31, 2024, the workshop will take place from 17:00 to 19:00 at the Witherspoon Rooms in the McKelvey Campus Center on Westminster’s campus in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage with professionals from various fields, explore different career paths, and learn about essential skills needed for the workforce. The event aims to equip students with information that can help them make informed decisions about their futures.
Workshop Details and Benefits
This year’s workshop promises an engaging atmosphere where students can connect with local employers and educational institutions. Attendees will participate in interactive sessions that cover a wide range of topics, including job readiness, resume building, and interview techniques. Representatives from Pennsylvania CareerLink will also be present to offer insights into available resources and training programs.
According to the event organizers, the workshop is intended to bridge the gap between education and employment, empowering students to take proactive steps towards their careers. “We want to provide a platform where students can explore their interests and understand the opportunities available to them after graduation,” said Mark Smith, Director of Career Services at Westminster College.

Students are encouraged to register in advance to secure their spots. Participation in this workshop not only enhances their understanding of career options but also fosters valuable networking opportunities with industry professionals.
