Washington County’s 53rd Annual Ice Cream Social Set for Aug. 16

UPDATE: The Washington County Historical Society is set to host its highly anticipated 53rd annual Ice Cream Social on August 16 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Headquarters House Museum in Fayetteville, Arkansas. This beloved community event promises an afternoon filled with delicious treats and vibrant entertainment, making it a must-attend for families and friends.

Tickets are affordably priced at $2.50 for children ages 6-12, $5 for adults, and $15 for families. Attendees can purchase tickets from historical society board members or directly at the gate, ensuring easy access to this festive occasion.

The Ice Cream Social will feature a delightful selection of ice cream from Hiland Dairy, along with cookies, cakes, lemonade, and water to refresh guests. Adding to the atmosphere, the Northwest Arkansas Old Time Fiddlers Association will provide live musical entertainment, enhancing the community spirit of the event.

In addition to the tasty treats, guests will have the unique opportunity to tour the Headquarters House Museum, gaining insights into local history while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Attendees can also capture memories with souvenir photos taken in period costume, thanks to a dedicated photo booth.
