UPDATE: A tragic drowning incident unfolded at Thor’s Well on the Oregon Coast near Cape Perpetua on Monday, October 23, 2023. Authorities confirm that a person fell into the well around 3:36 p.m. and subsequently drowned.
Witnesses reported seeing the individual plunge into the 20-foot-wide pit, known for its perilous waves that crash violently into the rocks.
