Urgent: Toys for Tots Campaign Launches in North Iowa Area

UPDATE: The 2025 Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots campaign has officially launched, and it’s time to make a difference for children in need this holiday season. The North Iowa Marine Corps League Detachment No. 859 is spearheading the campaign across the North Iowa area, including Floyd County.

This year, the campaign is collaborating with the Mason City Salvation Army for application and toy distribution, ensuring that families receive the support they need. The campaign aims to collect new, unwrapped toys to brighten the holidays for children who may otherwise go without.

Mark your calendars! A significant toy drive is scheduled for Saturday, November 29, 2025, where community members are encouraged to donate generously. The need is urgent, and every toy counts in bringing joy to local children this Christmas.

The Toys for Tots campaign has a long-standing tradition of uplifting families during the holiday season, and with the ongoing economic challenges, your support is more vital than ever. Last year, over 1,500 toys were distributed to families in the area, and this year’s goal is to surpass that number.

As the campaign unfolds, updates will be shared on social media platforms, and residents are urged to participate in local events. The North Iowa Marine Corps League is committed to community service, and this campaign exemplifies their dedication to ensuring that no child is left without a present.

Join the cause and help spread the word! For more details on how to contribute or volunteer, visit the North Iowa Marine Corps League’s official page or contact the Mason City Salvation Army. Together, we can make a significant impact this holiday season.

Stay tuned for more updates as the campaign progresses, and let’s rally together to support our local children in need!
