Urgent Search for Baby After Pregnant Woman Found Dead

URGENT UPDATE: Authorities are actively searching for the baby of Rebecca Park, a 22-year-old pregnant woman found dead in Manistee National Forest just days before her due date. Park was reported missing on November 4 and was last seen leaving her mother’s house in Michigan.

Her body was discovered by law enforcement on Saturday, but tragically, her baby was not found with her. The official cause of death remains under investigation, and police are appealing for public help as they seek answers in this heartbreaking case.

Law enforcement agencies, including the Wexford County Sheriff’s Office and Michigan State Police, confirmed the ongoing search for the infant, stating that details currently available are “extremely limited.” Sheriff Trent Taylor emphasized the community’s demand for justice, saying, “We understand the public’s desire for details and their demand for justice for Rebecca and her baby.”

Witnesses reported seeing Rebecca getting into the passenger side of a dark-colored vehicle outside her mother’s residence. She was 38 weeks pregnant at the time of her disappearance, and her phone was later discovered near her mother’s home, intensifying concerns for her safety.

In a significant development, Rebecca’s fiancé, Richard Lee Falor, aged 43 and a convicted sex offender, was arrested on November 7 at approximately 7:30 PM. Meanwhile, her 21-year-old sister, Kimberly Park, was taken into custody just after 1 AM on the following day. Kimberly faces multiple charges, including tampering with evidence, lying to police during a violent crime investigation, and filing a false police report.

Falor has been charged with two drug-related offenses. Rebecca’s father has shared with local media that her remains were located during an extensive search on a rural dirt road close to where she was last seen.

The community is reeling from this tragedy, as authorities continue to search for the missing baby and seek justice for Rebecca. The investigation remains active, with updates expected as new information becomes available.

Stay tuned for further developments in this urgent case as law enforcement works tirelessly to uncover the truth and locate Rebecca’s child.
