Urgent Recall: Target Issues Full Refunds for Three Dangerous Products

UPDATE: Target shoppers are urged to check their purchases as three products are involved in urgent nationwide recalls. Customers who bought these items are eligible for a full refund—act now to ensure your safety!

The recalls include potentially dangerous electronics and food items that could cause serious allergic reactions. The first product, a portable charging device from Anker Innovations, has been linked to overheating issues that pose fire and burn hazards. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the recall of 481,000 power banks last week. Anker reported 33 incidents of fires and explosions, including four minor burn injuries.

The affected power banks are engraved with “Anker” and feature model numbers A1647, A1652, A1257, A1681, and A1689. They were sold between August 2023 and June 2025 at retailers including Target, Best Buy, and Amazon, with prices ranging from $30 to $50. Customers are advised to stop using the devices immediately and can visit Anker’s recall page for a full refund. For inquiries, contact Anker at 800-988-7973 or via email at [email protected].

In a separate recall, Gooder Foods has pulled two pasta products from its Goodles brand due to undeclared allergens. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration confirmed the recall on September 11, identifying risks in both the “Vegan Is Believin’ Plant Based White Cheddar with Spirals” and “Here Comes Truffle Creamy Truffle Flavored Cheddar and Shells.” The Vegan product may contain milk, while the Truffle variant could have cashew, neither of which are listed on the packaging.

Six allergic reactions have been reported linked to the Here Comes Truffle product, and two reactions for Vegan Is Believin’. The recalled boxes have specific universal product codes and best-by dates, so consumers should check for codes 850031990074 and 850031990159. Return any affected products to the place of purchase for a full refund. Questions can be directed to Gooder Foods at 888-610-2341 or [email protected].

Lastly, One Frozen has recalled over 57,000 bags of its Good & Gather Southwest-Style Burrito Bowl Blend. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced this on September 10 due to undeclared allergens, as the product may contain shrimp not disclosed on the label. Consumers with shellfish allergies are at risk for serious reactions.

The recalled burrito bowls are labeled with the universal product code 085239931356 and should not be consumed. Return the items to Target for a full refund, and for more information, contact Target Guest Relations at 800-440-0680.

With multiple recalls affecting consumers nationwide, this is a critical time to check your pantry and electronic devices. Share this urgent news to help others stay safe!
