Travis Kelce Laughs Off ‘D***’ Comment from Actor Josh Charles

UPDATE: Actor Josh Charles shared a hilarious moment with Travis Kelce during the filming of Taylor Swift’s latest music video, revealing how he jokingly called the NFL star a “d***.” This lighthearted exchange has captured attention and highlights a playful side of their interactions.

In an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on January 5, 2023, Charles recounted their encounter while filming the “Fortnight” music video, where they both appeared alongside Ethan Hawke. The conversation turned amusing when Charles expressed his past frustrations with Kelce after the Kansas City Chiefs defeated Charles’ team in the AFC Championship Game.

“I’ve always liked Travis Kelce, I thought he was cool, but that year they beat us in the AFC championship game — they beat the Ravens — he was a real jerk that year,” Charles stated. He humorously added, “So I kind of fell off of him.”

The playful exchange unfolded when Charles confronted Kelce, stating, “You know I always liked you, and this year you were kind of a D-I-C-K.” To this, Kelce laughed and admitted, “You know what, you’re right.”

Charles elaborated on Kelce’s mindset during that pivotal game, saying, “He goes, ‘I’m going to tell you why, because we marked down that game against your team as if we could win that game, we were most worried about that game.’” Kelce’s competitive spirit was evident as he confessed, “I had to come in with some swagger.”

This interaction showcases Kelce’s candidness and humor, and Charles praised him, calling the Chiefs’ tight end “such a good dude.”

The “Fortnight” music video features Charles and Hawke as scientists conducting an experiment, with Swift dramatically positioned in the background. Charles later shared his excitement on social media, posting behind-the-scenes images and expressing his admiration for Swift.

This unexpected revelation has sparked interest among fans of both the NFL and Hollywood, as they witness a lighthearted moment between sport and entertainment. As the story unfolds, fans are eager to see what other interactions may emerge from the set of the “Fortnight” music video.
