Santos Shines with Two Goals as Brick Memorial Crushes Red Bank

UPDATE: In a commanding performance, Alexander Santos scored his first two goals of the season, leading fifth-seeded Brick Memorial to a decisive 5-0 victory over 13th-seeded Red Bank Regional in the Central Jersey, Group 3 quarterfinals held in Brick earlier today.

This dominant win not only secures Brick Memorial’s place in the semifinals but also highlights a significant turnaround in their postseason push. The team, now boasting a record of 16-7, showcased their offensive prowess with Nate Stryker contributing a goal and two assists.

In addition to Santos’ standout performance, Sebastian Millan added a goal and an assist, while Elin Torres also found the back of the net. The team’s ability to work together effectively was evident as they outplayed Red Bank Regional, which fell to a record of 8-13-1 following this defeat.

The victory sets the stage for Brick Memorial’s upcoming semifinal match against top-seeded Colts Neck on Tuesday, where they will look to continue their impressive run in the tournament.
