URGENT UPDATE: Providence Swedish is actively seeking former patients and family members to join its Patient Family Advisory Council (PFAC) to enhance patient care immediately. This initiative aims to incorporate direct feedback and insights into the policies and practices at Providence Medical Group clinics, as well as Providence St. Peter Hospital and Providence Centralia Hospital.
APPLICATIONS OPEN NOW: Interested individuals can apply to influence the future of healthcare services by joining PFAC, which has been shaping patient care since 2011. “Providence Swedish in South Puget Sound is committed to partnering with patients, families, and caregivers throughout the healthcare experience,” said Chief Executive Darin Goss. “The Patient Family Advisory Council provides an invaluable perspective. Our mission is all about serving patients and families.”
Meetings for the PFAC are scheduled for the first Friday of each month from noon to 2 p.m. and are currently held in person with options for video conferencing. This flexibility ensures that diverse voices from all backgrounds can participate, making the advisory council more representative of the community it serves.
To apply, potential members must submit an application, undergo an interview, and complete the volunteer recruitment process. If you’re interested in making a difference in patient care, fill out the application at shorturl.at/qtVDM and email it to Patricia Warnick at [email protected]. For additional information, contact Warnick at 360-791-3486.
This is a unique opportunity for those who have experienced care at Providence facilities to share their perspectives and contribute to improvements in healthcare delivery. More volunteer opportunities can also be found on the Providence Centralia website at shorturl.at/q1d9s or the Providence St. Peter website at shorturl.at/ouREQ.
