Plaud Unveils Game-Changing Desktop App for Meeting Notes

URGENT UPDATE: Plaud has just launched a revolutionary desktop app designed to transform how professionals capture meeting notes without the awkwardness of AI bots. This innovative tool aims to streamline the note-taking process, allowing users to focus on conversations rather than worry about recording every detail.

The new app, unveiled today ahead of the 2026 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, enables users to record meetings seamlessly without a visible bot present. Unlike existing AI meeting assistants like Fireflies AI and Otter, which join calls as participants, Plaud’s Desktop app operates discreetly, enhancing user comfort during discussions.

This desktop app automatically detects when an online meeting is active on platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, or Teams. With just a click, users can initiate “secure, real-time audio capture,” allowing for a more natural conversation flow. All recorded meetings are stored and made accessible through the Plaud App and Web, ensuring that no crucial information is lost.

Additionally, the Plaud Desktop app supports multimodal input, enabling users to capture text notes, highlights, and screenshots alongside audio. This comprehensive approach ensures that professionals have all necessary information at their fingertips, significantly improving productivity and organization.

Currently in beta, the Plaud Desktop app is available starting today, promising a new era for those who find traditional meeting notes cumbersome.

In tandem with this release, Plaud also introduced the NotePin S, a new AI wearable priced at $179. This device features an instant-highlight button that allows users to mark key points in real-time, further enhancing the note-taking experience. The NotePin S comes complete with a clip, lanyard, magnetic pen, and wristband, making it a versatile addition to any professional’s toolkit.

The introduction of the Plaud Desktop app and NotePin S underscores Plaud’s commitment to simplifying note-taking and enhancing productivity in the workplace. As professionals increasingly rely on technology for efficiency, these innovations are set to make a significant impact.

Keep an eye on Plaud’s ongoing developments as they continue to reshape the meeting landscape. Share this news with your network to ensure everyone is aware of these exciting advancements!
