Jizzle James Dismissed from Cincinnati Basketball Team Amid Issues

URGENT UPDATE: Jizzle James, a standout guard for the Cincinnati Bearcats and son of NFL Hall of Famer Edgerrin James, has been dismissed from the team, according to a statement from head coach Wes Miller. This shocking news comes just weeks before the start of the college basketball season, leaving fans and teammates in disbelief.

Earlier today, Coach Miller confirmed that James, who achieved 12.7 points per game last season and earned an all-Big 12 honorable mention, is no longer part of the basketball program. “Jizzle James has been dealing with personal issues throughout the summer,” Miller stated. “We removed him from the team last month. He is currently not a member of our basketball program. As this is a personal matter, I will have no further comment at this time.”

James was anticipated to be a key player for the Bearcats after impressively competing against top teams like Houston, Iowa State, and Texas Tech last season. His performances had positioned him as one of the league’s top returning players, and his absence will undoubtedly impact the team’s dynamics moving forward.

Despite the weight of his father’s legacy on the football field, Jizzle chose to pursue basketball, receiving offers from several prestigious programs in the ACC and SEC before eventually selecting Cincinnati over schools like Georgia and LSU. His recent social media activity has been limited, with his latest Instagram story showcasing him working out, but providing no insight into his current situation.

The dismissal raises questions about the future of the Bearcats as they prepare for the upcoming season. Fans and analysts will be closely watching for any updates regarding James’ personal matters and potential next steps.

As the college basketball landscape shifts, this development highlights the ongoing challenges athletes face both on and off the court. Stay tuned for more updates as this story evolves.
