Isaiah Thomas Ready to Play NBA Season; Teams Showing Interest

BREAKING: Longtime NBA guard Isaiah Thomas is eager to return to the court, revealing he is prepared to play for “at least” one more season. In an exclusive interview with TMZ Sports, Thomas confirmed that he feels great physically and is currently in game shape, with multiple teams expressing interest in signing him.

The 36-year-old Thomas last played a full season with the Washington Wizards in 2019, averaging an impressive 17.5 points per game throughout his career, most notably during his standout years with the Boston Celtics. Despite facing serious injuries, he remains confident in his ability to compete at a high level.

“I’m staying ready,” Thomas stated while at LAX. He emphasized ongoing communication with several NBA teams as he navigates his next move in professional basketball. “I know I can still play, and my body feels amazing,” he added.

Most recently, Thomas played with the Phoenix Suns in 2024, but he has also been on the move in recent years, signing multiple 10-day contracts and spending time in the G League. Now, he is focused on finding a stable position within the league.

Thomas is clear about his intentions: “I still got a few more years to play… but ideally, I would love to play one more.” If an NBA opportunity does not materialize, he acknowledges he has options off the court, but his passion for contributing to a team remains paramount.

As the NBA season approaches, fans and analysts alike are eager to see which teams will secure his talent. The urgency of this news is palpable, with Thomas’s future hanging in the balance. Stay tuned for updates on this developing story and potential team signings as the league prepares for the upcoming season.
