BREAKING NEWS: The Dallas Mavericks are revolutionizing the game day experience by introducing high-end dining options at the American Airlines Center (AAC). This exciting initiative kicks off with gourmet pop-up restaurants during Dallas Mavericks games, offering fans a taste of luxury without the hefty price tag.
Starting December 6, 2025, basketball enthusiasts can indulge in a double royale with cheese and Parmesan-truffle fries from renowned restaurant Catch for just $26 during the Mavericks’ matchup against the Houston Rockets. This New York City seafood hotspot, now open in Dallas, aims to provide a fun and accessible dining experience for fans.
PATRICK LANG, vice president of global restaurant and nightlife development for Las Vegas Sands Corp, which recently acquired the Mavericks, shared his vision for enhancing the game day atmosphere. “We want to take the dining experiences typically reserved for special occasions and make them approachable for all fans,” Lang stated.
On December 23, 2025, Crown Block, a restaurant atop Dallas’ iconic Reunion Tower, will offer a shrimp po’boy for around $20 during the Mavericks game. The culinary excitement continues with The Mexican from the Dallas Design District, set to join the pop-up lineup for the January 22, 2025, game against the Golden State Warriors.
Lang expressed enthusiasm for bringing acclaimed culinary brands to the AAC, emphasizing the importance of merging exceptional dining with sports entertainment. “When new ownership took over the Mavericks, we envisioned creating unique experiences that resonate with our fans,” he explained.
This initiative began last season, featuring exclusive offerings like caviar and fried chicken from Yardbird. Other high-profile restaurants, including Loro and Uchi, have also participated, showcasing the variety of dining options now available to Mavericks fans.
Lang revealed that pop-up restaurants will be located on the main concourse of the AAC, easily accessible to any ticket holder starting October 22, 2025. These culinary experiences are designed to engage fans and enhance their overall enjoyment of the game.
“Our goal is to provide an incentive for fans to arrive early and explore new food offerings,” Lang stated. He envisions future collaborations with restaurants like Carbone, offering signature dishes at accessible prices, transforming the AAC into a culinary destination.
Las Vegas Sands is leveraging its extensive network of restaurant partnerships to elevate the Mavericks’ game day offerings. However, this initiative is exclusive to Mavericks games, with no plans to include other events at the AAC, such as concerts or Dallas Stars games.
Fans can stay informed about the latest pop-up restaurant details via game day preview emails from the Mavericks, as well as on the team’s Instagram stories. With this innovative dining approach, Mavericks fans can look forward to an unforgettable game day filled with exceptional food and thrilling basketball.
This transformative dining experience at the AAC is poised to attract food lovers and basketball fans alike, setting a new standard for how sports venues can engage their audiences. Don’t miss out on tasting Dallas’ finest while cheering for your team!
