Harrison Bader Cleared to Play in Game 2 After Groin Injury

URGENT UPDATE: Outfielder Harrison Bader is likely to play in Monday’s Game 2 for the Philadelphia Phillies after initial fears of a severe groin injury were alleviated. Bader left the field during Saturday’s National League Division Series opener, but imaging tests revealed no major tear or strain, according to Phillies manager Rob Thomson.

Thomson confirmed this morning that the team will assess Bader’s condition further before the game against the Los Angeles Dodgers, stating, “After the game, they stretched him out and got him moving around a little bit.
