URGENT UPDATE: A popular burger and cheesesteak chain, Gouldsburger’s, is rapidly expanding its footprint in South Jersey, with three new locations set to open in 2026. This expansion will bring the total number of Gouldsburger’s restaurants to nine, significantly enhancing its presence in the region.
The new sites will be located in Sicklerville, Marlton, and Glassboro, according to a statement released on December 2 by Vantage Commercial, the firm that facilitated the transactions. The expansion includes a mix of corporate and franchisee-owned locations, which is expected to create numerous job opportunities in these communities.
The Sicklerville location will be situated at 681 Cross Keys Road in the Cross Keys Center, occupying approximately 1,400 square feet of inline retail space. The Marlton restaurant will open at 27 N. Maple Ave. in the Allison Shopping Center, taking over around 1,600 square feet previously occupied by Bombay Express. Meanwhile, the Glassboro venue will be located at 111 High St., near Rowan University, within a 950 square feet retail corridor, appealing to both students and locals.
Gouldsburger’s, co-owned by David Murray and Walter Gouldsbury, has built a reputation as a fast-casual dining destination, specializing in mouthwatering burgers and cheesesteaks. The Vantage Commercial team, including Emily Stein, Ken Richardson, Vince Ceroli, and Neil Kakumanu, represented both the landlord and tenant in securing these prime locations.
This expansion is particularly significant as Gouldsburger’s continues to thrive amidst growing competition in the fast-casual sector. The new locations are expected to draw large crowds, especially from the vibrant student population at Rowan University.
As the opening dates approach, residents of South Jersey can look forward to enjoying the beloved menu items from Gouldsburger’s right in their neighborhoods. Keep an eye out for further updates on the grand opening events and special promotions.
For local residents and food enthusiasts, this expansion not only means more access to delicious burgers and cheesesteaks but also signals a positive economic development in the region. The community impact is expected to be substantial, with new jobs and increased foot traffic benefiting nearby businesses.
