URGENT UPDATE: In a shocking turn of events during a game on July 12, 2023, San Francisco Giants right-hander Landen Roupp was carted off the field after sustaining a severe injury from a line drive hit by Ramon Laureano of the San Diego Padres. The incident occurred in the third inning, leaving fans and teammates in disbelief.

Roupp was struck on the back of his right thigh, causing him to spin partially around. In a harrowing moment, his left knee buckled, and he fell face-first to the ground. Medical staff rushed to his aid, and he was seen holding his left knee as trainers assessed his condition.
