Fox Valley Mall Unveils Peanuts Holiday Village; Wedding Showcase Set

UPDATE: Fox Valley Mall in Naperville has just launched an immersive Peanuts Holiday Village featuring Santa, in celebration of the 75th anniversary of Charles M. Schulz’s iconic comic strip. This enchanting holiday experience will remain open through Christmas Eve, making it an unmissable event for families in the area.

The Peanuts Christmas Experience includes a spectacular display with Snoopy’s doghouse, screens showcasing beloved Peanuts holiday moments, and a vibrant corridor adorned with colorful trees. Families can visit Santa at no charge, and professional photo packages are available for purchase. Additionally, children will receive a free holiday toy after their visit, amplifying the festive spirit.

For families seeking a sensory-friendly experience, a special session with Santa will take place on December 7 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM, where lights will be dimmed and music will be turned off. Pet photos are also scheduled for December 8 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Reservations are recommended but not required; interested visitors can secure their spots at tinyurl.com/PeanutsandSanta2025.

In addition to the holiday festivities, Naper Settlement is gearing up for its annual Wedding Showcase on January 17, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This popular event will feature over 50 vendors including florists, bakers, and photographers, providing couples with a one-stop shop for their wedding planning needs.

Attendees can enjoy sampling catering options, exclusive discounts, and even a complimentary limo ride around the museum campus at 523 S. Webster St.. The event is free, but tickets are limited and available at www.napersettlement.org/weddingshowcase.

As part of the holiday spirit, Naperville Preservation is hosting a holiday photo contest to spotlight the best decorations on buildings at least 50 years old. This competition encourages residents to showcase the city’s history and festive charm. The winning photograph will be featured on Naperville Preservation’s social media and website, with the winner receiving a Naperville-themed gift. The deadline for entries is December 14, and details can be found on their Facebook page.

These exciting events promise to make this holiday season in Naperville unforgettable. Don’t miss out on the festive magic at Fox Valley Mall and the wedding planning opportunities at Naper Settlement. Share this news with friends and family to ensure everyone can join in the celebrations!
