FBI Releases Chilling Video of Charlie Kirk’s Killer Fleeing

UPDATE: The FBI has just released a haunting video revealing the moments after the fatal shooting of conservative figure Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University. This urgent development comes as the search for Kirk’s killer intensifies, now entering its second day.

During a press conference on Thursday evening, FBI officials unveiled the footage showing a shadowy figure fleeing across a campus rooftop immediately following the shooting, which occurred on Wednesday. The dramatic video confirms the initial movements of the gunman who shot the 31-year-old MAGA figure during a speaking event.

FBI agent Robert Bohls, who is leading the investigation, detailed the suspect’s actions in the video. The footage captures the individual rising from a prone position on top of a building near where Kirk was delivering his speech, before sprinting across the rooftop. “He ran behind the upper building and moved to the far right corner, before climbing off the edge and dropping down to the ground,” Bohls explained.

After a significant drop, the figure resembling the earlier released images of the “person of interest” can be seen crouching and then darting off to the right side. Bohls emphasized that this area is critical for the investigation, stating, “He left some palm impressions, some places where we’re hoping to gather DNA.”

Authorities have pointed out that a rifle fitted with a long-range scope was discovered in a forested area just a few hundred meters from where Kirk was shot. In a bid to identify the suspect, the FBI released four new images showing the individual navigating a stairwell, with his face turned away from security cameras.

Utah Governor Spencer Cox stressed the importance of public assistance in tracking down this “evil human being.” He revealed that the investigation has generated over 7,000 tips and involved more than 200 interviews, marking this as one of the largest efforts since the Boston Marathon bombing in 2013. Governor Cox also confirmed that authorities are considering pursuing the death penalty for Kirk’s killer.

Despite the extensive investigation, officials did not disclose any information regarding the suspect’s identity or current whereabouts. As the press conference concluded, reporters clamored for answers, but the silence from officials was palpable.

According to Utah’s Public Safety Commissioner Beau Mason, investigators currently “have no idea” where the suspect might be. They are exploring leads from individuals living nearby and have received tips that span far and wide. “We’re literally following up on persons of interest, with tips coming in on the tip line,” Mason stated.

As the search continues, the community remains on edge, anxiously awaiting any new leads. The urgency surrounding this case is palpable, and the FBI is appealing to the public for any information that could assist in bringing Kirk’s killer to justice. Stay tuned for more updates as this story develops.
