Electric National Anthems Ignite Game 7 of World Series!

UPDATE: In a thrilling prelude to Game 7 of the World Series, renowned singers Pia Toscano and Noah Reid delivered electric performances of the national anthems, captivating fans at the Rogers Centre in Toronto on November 1, 2025.

Toscano, famed for her appearance on “American Idol,” passionately sang “The Star-Spangled Banner”, while Reid, a dual U.S.-Canadian citizen, energized the crowd with a powerful rendition of “O Canada.” The performances set an electrifying tone just moments before the first pitch was thrown.

Both artists expressed their excitement on social media. Toscano shared, “So honored to be singing the US anthem,” while Reid stated, “Beyond honored to get to sing O Canada tonight at the World Series Game 7.” His post also highlighted his deep love for the Toronto Blue Jays, whom he calls a “proud team” of his city and country.

Players and managers from both teams stood with their caps over their hearts, showing respect during the anthems. The atmosphere was charged with anticipation as fans cheered for their teams, with the Blue Jays aiming for their first World Series title since 1993. Conversely, the Dodgers seek to secure a historic repeat championship, a feat last achieved by the New York Yankees in 2000.

“The Blue Jays nearly defeated the Dodgers in Game 6, but a valiant comeback fell short in the ninth inning,” reports an official from MLB. “Tonight’s game promises to be an unforgettable showdown.”

As the teams prepared for this pivotal match, all eyes are on superstar Shohei Ohtani of the Dodgers, who aims to lead his team to victory. Fans are eager to see if Los Angeles can clinch the title or if Toronto will rise to the occasion, igniting a passionate celebration in Canada.
