UPDATE: A tragic incident in Orange County has left an elderly woman dead after being struck by a suspected DUI driver. At approximately 6 p.m. on July 12, police responded to a serious crash near Brookhurst Street and Crailet Drive in Huntington Beach.
Upon arrival, officers discovered Caryl Margulies, an 85-year-old woman, unconscious on the roadway. Emergency responders rushed her to a nearby hospital, but she was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. Authorities have confirmed that Margulies had been reported missing prior to this devastating incident.
