Chicago’s Spooktacular Theater Lineup for October Unveiled Now

UPDATE: October has officially arrived in Chicago, and with it comes an electrifying lineup of spine-chilling theater performances that you won’t want to miss! This month marks the North American premiere of Paranormal Activity at the Chicago Shakespeare Theater, running through November 2. If you’re looking for an alternative experience, don’t miss the House of the Exquisite Corpse V: Blood & Puppets at Steppenwolf Merle Reskin Space, running until November 1. This immersive puppet show features six artist teams creating thrilling exhibits that promise to send shivers down your spine. Tickets are available from $21.

The adaptation of the classic gothic horror tale, The Haunting of Hill House, opens at St. Bonaventure from October 17 to November 9. This production, based on Shirley Jackson’s novel, follows a paranormal investigator and his guests as they uncover terrifying secrets. Tickets start at $30.

For a suspenseful evening, catch Gaslight (Angel Street) at Oil Lamp Theater, running until November 2. This classic thriller about manipulation and control, written by novelist Patrick Hamilton, is not to be missed. Tickets are priced from $55.
