UPDATE: The community of Billerica mourns the passing of Gail P. Levoshko, who died on February 18, 2026, at the age of 83. A beloved figure known for her vibrant spirit, Levoshko leaves behind a legacy of love and joy that touched many lives.
Born on February 1, 1943, in Reading, MA, Gail was the cherished widow of Arthur Levoshko. After marrying in Danvers, the couple settled in Billerica, where they raised their family over a remarkable span of more than 50 years. Gail’s career included roles with the Reading Fire Department, Northeast Airlines, and CompuGraphic, before she dedicated herself full-time to her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Lorijean Castine, living in Mennecy, France; her son, Michael Levoshko, and his wife Christine from Lynn; and her sister, Linda Lynch, along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Gail’s enthusiasm for life was unmatched. She was a fierce supporter of her grandchildren, whether in sports, academics, or the arts. Her granddaughter fondly recalled how every visit felt like a trip to Disney, highlighting the special bond she created with her family. From dancing with her husband to engaging in crafts with her great-grandchildren, Gail made every moment meaningful.
In line with her wishes, all services will be held privately, ensuring a personal farewell for her family. Community members are encouraged to honor Gail’s memory with flowers or by planting a living memorial.
