UPDATE: Bella Stika made an impressive debut at the state high school cross country meet, finishing 68th overall in Class 1A on Saturday afternoon. The event took place at the challenging Lakeside Golf Course in Fort Dodge, where competitors faced a demanding 5K course.
Despite not meeting her personal goals with a time of 21:16, Stika’s participation marks a significant milestone in her athletic career. This was her first run at the state level, bringing a mix of excitement and nerves as she faced some of the best young runners in the state.
