Alexander Skarsgård and Teyana Taylor Announced as SNL Hosts

BREAKING: Saturday Night Live has officially announced that Teyana Taylor and Alexander Skarsgård will host episodes in January 2026, following the much-anticipated kickoff by Finn Wolfhard on January 17. This exciting lineup promises to deliver star-studded performances and unforgettable moments on the iconic late-night show.

The first episode of the year will see Finn Wolfhard from Stranger Things hosting, alongside musical guest A$AP Rocky. Just revealed, Teyana Taylor will take the stage on January 24, 2026, with the rising band Geese as her musical guest. Following her, Alexander Skarsgård, known for his role in Pillion, will close out the month on January 31, 2026, with none other than Cardi B performing.

This season, SNL has already featured big names like Bad Bunny, Ariana Grande, and Amy Poehler, creating a pulse of excitement for fans. The ongoing 51st season of SNL has shown a commitment to bringing diverse talent and captivating performances, ensuring that viewers stay engaged week after week.

For Teyana Taylor, this is not her first rodeo; she made a guest appearance during a Kanye West performance in September 2018. However, this will mark Alexander Skarsgård’s debut on the show, raising anticipation among fans eager to see his comedic chops.

Skarsgård said in a statement.

With SNL airing Saturdays at 11:30 PM EST on NBC, fans can also stream episodes on Peacock. The show continues to be a platform for cultural moments, and the upcoming episodes are set to be no exception.
