Annie, a member of the co-ed group ALLDAY PROJECT, has addressed her fans after her university email address was inadvertently leaked. During a live broadcast on January 24, 2024, titled “Study With Me,” Annie shared her experience of studying alongside fans while completing assignments.
While engaged in her studies, Annie revealed the implications of the leaked email. She expressed concern that the flood of messages from fans via her academic email could hinder her ability to manage important communications from professors and the university. “Everyone, I have something to say. Honestly, I know it’s really easy to find my school ID. But if you send emails to my school email address, it becomes difficult for me to find emails from my professors or important messages sent by the school,” she stated.
Annie encouraged her fans to refrain from using her school email for personal messages. “All the emails sent there are full of kind words, and I appreciate them, but if you have something you want to say to me, please write it on Dayoff (the communication app) or anywhere else where I can read it,” she explained. She emphasized the importance of keeping her academic communications clear and accessible.
In a light-hearted conclusion to her message, Annie added, “Knowing my school email means knowing my school schedule too. If you see me at school and greet me, I’ll greet you back. But there may be times when I’m really not in good condition, so please understand in advance. And if you want to see me, just study hard to get into Columbia University.” Furthermore, she promised to share her handwritten notes with any fan who successfully enrolls at the prestigious Ivy League institution.
Annie is not only a rising star in the music industry but also the granddaughter of the executive chairwoman of Shinsegae Group. She is currently pursuing a degree in art history and visual arts at Columbia University and has recently returned to campus after a leave of absence.
While Annie continues her studies through the spring semester, which lasts until May, the other members of ALLDAY PROJECT are planning to engage in various individual activities to minimize the group’s hiatus.
