Kelley Blue Book (KBB) has recognized Acura as the Best Value Brand in the luxury category during its 2025 Consumer Choice Awards. This accolade highlights a growing intersection between luxury and value, appealing to consumers who desire comfort and quality without excessive expenditure.
According to KBB, Acura’s lineup features models such as the sporty RDX and the Integra, which combine luxury with affordability and fuel efficiency. The brand’s reputation for offering exceptional value is reflected in data collected from over 12,000 shoppers through KBB’s annual Brand Watch Study. This study identifies key factors that influence purchasing decisions, further reinforcing Acura’s standing in the luxury vehicle market.
Acura’s Lineup and Future Developments
Currently, Acura offers six models, including the TLX sedan, the RDX and MDX SUVs, and the new ZDX electric vehicle. While the TLX is slated for discontinuation in 2025 due to declining sales, it will be succeeded by the Acura RSX, a sporty electric crossover built on Honda’s electrified platform. This move aligns with industry trends towards electric vehicles and aims to maintain Acura’s competitive edge.
Despite Acura’s recognition, it is not the only luxury brand to gain accolades. Porsche emerged as a significant player in the 2025 awards, securing three out of six awards in the luxury category. These included Best Performance, Most Refined, and Best Overall Luxury Brand, underscoring the importance of performance and refinement for consumers investing in premium vehicles.
Other Award Winners in the Luxury Segment
Additionally, BMW received the Best Car Styling Award for its latest models, showcasing a blend of muscular and athletic designs. Meanwhile, Lexus earned the title of Most Trusted Luxury Brand for the ninth consecutive year, a testament to its reliability and customer satisfaction.
In contrast, Acura’s more affordable counterpart, Honda, dominated the mainstream category with awards for Best Performance, Best In-Vehicle Experience, Best Value, Most Trusted, and Best Overall Brand. The only award not captured by Honda was Best Car Styling, which went to Dodge. Both Honda and Acura share similar platforms, providing consumers with a consistent and quality driving experience across their vehicles.
Overall, Acura’s recognition as the best value luxury brand signifies its commitment to delivering quality vehicles that offer more than just luxury. The findings from KBB illustrate that buyers perceive Acura as providing exceptional value for their investment, reinforcing the brand’s position in a competitive market.
