Quarterback Dallin Cox was pivotal in the victory, contributing both on the ground and through the air. However, Rock Hill quickly regained momentum, with Davidson rushing for 37 yards before Cox executed a bootleg run for a 27-yard touchdown, pushing the score to 23-15 with 3:17 remaining.
The Pointers’ final possession ended in a fourth-down sack, allowing Rock Hill to run out the clock and secure the victory.
