JBL Launches New Quantum Gaming Headsets at CES 2026

At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026, JBL unveiled its latest innovations in gaming audio with the introduction of the improved Quantum series gaming headsets. This year, the company is launching three distinct models: the Quantum 950X, Quantum 650X, and Quantum 250, targeting various segments of the gaming community. Each headset is designed to cater to different needs and budgets, ensuring that JBL addresses the diverse preferences of gamers worldwide.

New Models and Features Unveiled

The Quantum 250 is positioned as an entry-level option, retailing at a competitive $79.99. This wired headset emphasizes simplicity, offering a plug-and-play experience that allows users to connect directly without the need for additional accessories. Despite its straightforward design, it includes essential features such as spatial sound and a noise-cancelling microphone, enhancing vocal clarity during in-game communication.

In contrast, the flagship model, the Quantum 950X, is priced at $399.99 and boasts advanced technology tailored for serious gamers. One of its standout features is the hot-swappable battery system, which allows users to replace the battery without interrupting gameplay. This model also comes with a wireless base station that charges a backup battery, ensuring virtually uninterrupted playtime.

The Quantum 950X supports dual wireless connectivity, utilizing both Bluetooth 5.3 and a 2.4GHz low-latency audio connection via the base station. This feature is designed to provide gamers with flexibility and a seamless audio experience.

Mid-Tier Option for Gamers

For those seeking a balance between performance and affordability, the Quantum 650X offers many of the high-end features at a mid-tier price of $199.95. This model retains the dual wireless connectivity and noise-cancelling microphone found in its more expensive counterpart, along with spatial audio capabilities. With a battery life of up to 45 hours, the Quantum 650X is designed for extended gaming sessions without frequent recharging.

JBL plans to release the Quantum 250 in March, followed by the Quantum 950X and Quantum 650X in April. The company’s emphasis on catering to various segments of the gaming market reflects its commitment to delivering quality audio experiences tailored to different preferences and budgets.

As the gaming industry continues to evolve, JBL’s new offerings aim to enhance gameplay through innovative technology, providing gamers with the tools they need for immersive experiences. With these launches, JBL reinforces its position in the competitive gaming headset market, appealing to a wide range of users from casual players to dedicated enthusiasts.
