Coach’s Praise and Future Prospects
Scott Cross, the head coach at Troy, praised Harper’s abilities, stating, “Haiden is a dynamic, super skilled basketball player that can score with the very best of them.” He further emphasized that achieving 2,000 points is an extraordinary accomplishment, though not surprising given Harper’s talent. Cross highlighted that Harper’s character off the court is what truly sets him apart, remarking, “What makes this milestone even more special is that Haiden is an even better person than basketball player.”
As Harper aims to conclude his high school career with a state championship, both he and his team are focused on the upcoming challenges. The support from his coaches, family, and community remains a driving force as he prepares for his transition to collegiate basketball at Troy.
