Guam Hosts Colorful Triple J Bubble Run and Veterans 5K

A vibrant weekend of athletic events is set to unfold in Guam, featuring the 2025 Triple J Bubble Color Run on Saturday, followed by the 4th Annual Veterans 5K Run and Walk on Sunday. These events promise fun and community engagement while supporting important local initiatives.

Triple J Bubble Color Run

Kicking off the weekend, the Triple J Bubble Color Run will take place on March 15, 2025, starting at the Triple J Showroom in Upper Tumon. This lively event offers participants a unique experience with a 5K and 10K race that includes bubbles and color, culminating in a celebratory finish-line atmosphere suitable for families.

Registration opens at 5:15 a.m., with the race commencing at 6 a.m. Entry fees are set at $15 for the 5K (increasing to $20 on race day) and $20 for the 10K (rising to $25 on race day). A group rate of $50 is available for teams of four. Proceeds from this year’s event will benefit Guam Cancer Care, Bake Their Day, and Safe Haven Pregnancy Center, all of which provide essential support for local families. Veterans 5K Run and Walk

On Sunday, the focus shifts to the 4th Annual Veterans 5K Run and Walk, organized by I Hinanao, I Magahet, Yan I Ininna, and HMI. This event aims to empower veterans by facilitating access to their earned benefits and fostering a supportive community.

The run will take place at the CHamoru Village in Hagatña, with the event starting at 5 p.m. and participants advised to arrive by 4 p.m. The first 200 finishers will receive commemorative shirts. Registration details can be found at my.raceresult.com/367595 or by scanning the provided QR code.

In addition to the run, HMI will host its 3rd Annual Veterans Gala on November 15, 2025, from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Dusit Thani Guam Resort’s Grand Ballroom. Attendees are encouraged to dress in island formal attire, with cocktails served starting at 5 p.m. Businesses are invited to sponsor their veteran employees or become formal event sponsors, with sponsorship levels ranging from $250 for bronze to $1,000 for gold.
