Born Tricia Taw on September 13, 1946, in Los Angeles, California, she was the middle child of Richard and Mary Taw. Tricia spent her formative years in Inglewood and Culver City, creating cherished memories during summers in Ely, Nevada, with her extended family. Her professional journey began at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), where she worked as a ticket agent for American Airlines. This role not only honed her ability to read people but also helped her develop a knack for problem-solving and a distinctive sense of humor.
Tricia later transitioned into television production, contributing to various projects from movies-of-the-week to live broadcasts like Circus of the Stars. Her love for the creative arts extended to music and literature, as she was often seen with multiple books in hand, reflecting her insatiable appetite for knowledge and creativity.

In 1984, Tricia married John Marcello after meeting through mutual friends. Together, they built a life filled with love and laughter in Manhattan Beach. The couple welcomed their daughter, Molly, into the world, which marked the beginning of a new chapter filled with parenting experiences. Tricia became actively involved in local public school education, serving as the PTA president and volunteering for South Bay community organizations such as Sandpipers.
