Mummies of the World Exhibition Opens at California Science Center

The California Science Center in Los Angeles has officially launched the highly anticipated exhibition, Mummies of the World: The Exhibition, which opened on February 7, 2024. This captivating showcase features over 30 mummies, both naturally and intentionally preserved, hailing from various cultures across South America, Europe, and ancient Egypt.

The exhibition offers visitors a rare opportunity to view mummies that have never been displayed in Los Angeles before. Attendees will explore the science behind mummification, including methods used in extreme environments like glaciers and deserts, as well as techniques employed in underground crypts throughout Europe.
