Jacqueline Marjorie Glass, a beloved philanthropist and matriarch, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2025, at the age of 94. She was surrounded by her family and the compassionate staff of Providence TrinityCare Hospice in Palos Verdes, California. Glass dedicated her life to her family and to serving her community, leaving behind a legacy of love and support.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Glass was a woman of many passions. She had a profound love for music, travel, and sports, particularly tennis. Together with her late husband, Jerry Glass, she devoted over 30 years of her life to promoting hospice care through the TrinityCare Foundation. Their joint efforts raised awareness and provided support for hospice services, impacting countless lives.
Jacky, as she was affectionately known, is survived by her five children, five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. She also joins her late husband Jerry and her grandson Dylan Glass in eternal rest. Her family described her as a true “Earth Angel,” characterizing her as a devoted mother and grandmother who created a warm and loving home filled with laughter.
Celebration of Life Planned for November
In honor of her life and contributions, a Celebration of Life will be held on November 1, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Saint Peter’s by the Sea Presbyterian Church in Rancho Palos Verdes. A reception will follow the service, allowing family and friends to gather and share memories.
