Barbara was the cherished wife of the late Barron “Barry” Craig Ott, with whom she shared a lifetime filled with joy and adventure.
Predeceased by her sons, David Barron and Christopher Vosnick, Barbara is survived by her devoted son, Craig Brian Ott, and his wife, Kristin Noel Ott. Her family also includes her adored grandson, Kyler Craig Ott, as well as David’s widow, Molly Ott. She is remembered fondly by her nieces, Leanne Ciscerio and Vickey McClarey Vosnick, and by numerous cousins, including Kathy Krause, Mary Slayter, and Nancy Autio, with whom she shared a wealth of cherished memories.

Barbara and Barry first crossed paths in San Francisco, California, eventually establishing their home in Manhattan Beach, where Barbara resided for over 65 years. She was a vital part of her community, actively participating in Sandpipers, a philanthropic organization dedicated to supporting local causes. Barbara’s commitment to community service extended to her volunteer work for the Bishop Montgomery High School auction, where she eagerly contributed to initiatives that resonated with her values.
Faith played a significant role in Barbara’s life as a devoted parishioner of American Martyrs Church in Manhattan Beach. She regularly attended mass and formed lasting friendships with many fellow parishioners, fostering a strong sense of community through her faith.

Barbara’s passion for travel was evident, particularly in her fondness for Maui, Hawaii, a destination she cherished and often shared with loved ones. Known for her warmth and hospitality, she frequently hosted gatherings at her home, where laughter, delicious meals, and the excitement of University of Oregon Ducks football games created lasting bonds among family and friends.
Her generous spirit and unwavering love for her family will resonate in the hearts of all who knew her. Barbara’s legacy is one of kindness, devotion, and the ability to bring people together in celebration of life’s moments, both big and small.
