Sun Harley-Davidson is set to host a Thanksgiving giveaway on November 20, 2025, aimed at supporting local families facing challenges this holiday season. This event, known as the Great Turkey Gaggle, will take place from 09:00 to 12:00 at Sun Harley-Davidson, located at 8858 Pearl Street in Denver, Colorado. Families can collect a complimentary Thanksgiving meal package, which includes a turkey and all the traditional side dishes, with no registration required.

In a gesture of community spirit, guests will also receive free warm beverages starting at 09:00. The event will offer both walk-up and drive-thru options to accommodate attendees. Mark Kite, Dealer Principal at Sun Harley-Davidson, expressed the importance of community collaboration, stating, “There’s nothing more meaningful than seeing our community come together to make sure no one goes without during the holidays.” He emphasized the honor of partnering with organizations like Excalibur Outreach, The Chicano Pride Ride, and Rider Justice to provide for those in need.

Community Contributions and Efforts

Prior to this giveaway, Excalibur Outreach successfully collected 85 turkeys, over $2,000 in donations, and numerous non-perishable food items during a collection event held at Sun Harley-Davidson on November 1. The momentum continues, as additional collection events throughout November are expected to increase contributions, ensuring that more families receive full Thanksgiving meals this year.

This initiative is made possible through the cooperation of various local organizations, including Excalibur Outreach, Sun Powersports, and the Thornton community, all dedicated to making a significant impact on the lives of local families. Donations will be accepted until November 23, 2025, to help guarantee that every family receives a holiday meal. Those interested in contributing can do so securely via PayPal or by scanning a QR code available at the event.
