Parents File Lawsuit After Toddler’s Severe Injuries at School

A new lawsuit claims a 3-year-old boy had to be emergency airlifted to a hospital in Dallas due to the severity of his injuries caused by a series of failures by Galaxy Ranch Private School in Rockwall, Texas. The toddler spent several days in the pediatric intensive care unit (pictured), according to the complaint.

The parents of a three-year-old child are pursuing legal action against Galaxy Ranch Private School, alleging that unsafe disciplinary practices resulted in severe injuries to their son. According to the lawsuit filed by United States Army veterans Tony and Keisha Saunders, their child suffered a skull fracture, a brain bleed, and traumatic brain injury due to the school’s negligence.

The lawsuit, represented by The Button Law Firm, asserts that Galaxy Ranch Private School violated multiple childcare regulations designed to protect young children. The incident, which occurred in Dallas, Texas, has raised significant concerns regarding the safety protocols in place at the institution.

In their complaint, the Saunders claim that the school’s actions constituted a breach of duty and a failure to provide adequate supervision and care. The couple alleges that the incident took place during a disciplinary measure that was not only inappropriate but also dangerous for a child of such a young age.

The family has detailed the traumatic impact of the incident, not only on their child’s health but also on their emotional well-being. The lawsuit seeks compensation for medical expenses, pain and suffering, and other damages resulting from the injuries sustained.

December 3, 2025, marks a critical date for the case as it was officially filed in court. The Saunders express their hope that this legal action will not only bring justice for their child but also encourage stricter adherence to safety standards in childcare facilities across the region.

The allegations against Galaxy Ranch Private School highlight a growing concern about the treatment of young children in educational settings. As the case unfolds, it may prompt discussions about the need for reform and increased accountability for childcare providers.

The Saunders family has emphasized their commitment to ensuring that no other child experiences similar harm due to unsafe practices. They believe that their lawsuit could serve as a catalyst for change within the childcare system, advocating for the rights and safety of all children in educational environments.

As this situation develops, it will be crucial to monitor the legal proceedings and the responses from Galaxy Ranch Private School and relevant authorities regarding the allegations presented by the Saunders.
